Livingston played author Jack Berger during Season 6 of 'Sex and the City,' but when things got tough between him and Carrie (Sarah Jessica Parker), Berger ran for the hills after the parting written words: 'I can't. Don't hate me.' Suffice it to say, Carrie didn't follow his instructions and neither did fans.]]>

After said girlfriend, Anne, forces him to see a hypnotherapist to get him out of his funk, she breaks up with him the next day over his answering machine (!) and also reveals she's been cheating on him.
