So Many iPhone Apps, So Little Time

Just after Apple announced its intention to create an online app store for the iPhone, “You’re witnessing the birth of a third major computer platform: Windows, Mac OS X, iPhone”?
Anyway, there are now 15,000 programs available on the App Store, and so many more are flooding in that Apple’s army of screeners can’t even keep up. Google Makes iPhone the New eBook Reader: Watch Out Kindle

Before you authors get upset, never fear: Google is making 1.5 million books available,
it announced today, that are in the public domain. There’s a lot of good stuff, including everything by Charles Dickens and (pre-zombified) Jane Austen. Google Says: 
 
“We envision a future where people across the globe can search, discover and access the world’s books from any device,” Google spokeswoman Jennie Jarvis said in an e-mail.
